German American conductor, concert organist and pianist Gundi Gabrielle has toured internationally all over the world, including Carnegie Hall, the Vatican, Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche Berlin, Stanford University, Notre Dame Jerusalem, Herkulessaal Munich and many of the great Cathedrals of Europe (Paris, Vienna, Strasburg, Uppsala, Lund).

NEW YORK - CARNEGIE HALL: J.S. Bach - Mass in B Minor

In 2011, Ms. Gabrielle was given the special honor of performing for the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, on St. Peter’s Square in Rome as well as concerts at the Pantheon and Capitol (Santa Maria in Ara Coeli) and a mass at St. Peter’s Basilica.

A graduate of Folkwang Conservatory of Music, Dance & Drama in Essen, Germany (M.A. in Music) as well as Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in New York, she has served as Music Director and Organist at churches in New York, Los Angeles and Germany.

In 2008, she founded her own company: L’Ensemble Médical (LEM) - a 200-member oratorio choir and orchestra - while attending Munich University’s School of Medicine (LMU), which is now expanding into the US with a new base in Los Angeles.

LEM combines in a unique concept of Social Entrepeneurship music, science and charity:

While touring internationally, symposia are held on “Music & Medicine” - in collaboration with the local Medical Schools, e.g. Cornell-New York, Marie Curie-Paris, Strasburg University - bringing the public’s awareness to the vast possibilities of music as a healing art.

Through LEM’s concerts funds are raised for
“Doctors Without Borders” - so far over $30,000.
